This week in Educational Media Applications, we learned how to build a green screen from scratch and interact with green screen technology.
Our project for the week was to put together a script and record a skit. I worked with Molly and Sydney, and we put together a bit about the history of the Platteville “M”. We used the Do Ink app on the iPad to record our skit in the green screen room provided to us by Professor Brogley. After recording several clips, we used the iMovie app to put together all of our recordings and then edit our video. We even added sound effects, transitions, and title pages.
This was my first time working with green screen and video editing technology. The girls and I really enjoyed this creative learning process, and I think that our final product looks pretty good!
