Sketchnoting

Last week in Ed Media Apps, we learned about sketchnoting! Sketchnoting is just a way of taking visual notes.

Sketchnotes increase:

  • Listening
  • Comprehension
  • Visual stimulation

Some apps that you can use to sketchnote are:

  • FlipInk
  • Paper by 53
  • Adobe Draw
  • Procreate
  • Sketches

One particularly well-known sketchnoter is Sylvia Duckworth. Check out her work here.

As a class, we got into groups to create our own sketchnotes based on Eric Sheninger’s writing. Molly, Sydney, and I made a sketchnote to explain what a digital learner is. Check out our final product — What is a Digital Learner?

For now,

Steph
